We have a rich history of continuous innovation in agriculture, and we are blessed by nature.
The dark, fertile soil and the temperate, humid climate brought by the Gulf of Mexico's currents create ideal conditions for agriculture. The green mountain plateaus provide cool, dry habitats for both wild and domesticated species. Here, during the endless summer days, crops grow slowly under the near-constant sunlight, imbuing the food with a distinct flavor. For generations, the people of Trøndelag have hunted, gathered, and farmed, learning to harness what the earth and sea can offer.
