Monil is a Norwegian technology company that provides robust virtual fences to Norwegian cattle farmers.
Farmers are becoming increasingly scarce. With long working hours and high costs, it must become both simpler and more profitable to keep grazing animals outdoors.
Monil was primarily founded to provide farmers with tools to streamline their operations. Today, we do this by challenging traditional fences with virtual fences.
Woolero is a startup originating from NTNU's School of Entrepreneurship that utilizes low-value wool from Norwegian sheep to develop innovative products aimed at reducing the use of non-renewable materials.
Since 2021, the company has established a production line for bio-fertilizer (in the form of wool pellets) in Osen Municipality, and has built strong relationships and collaborations with customers, partners, and several major players in gardening and agriculture.
The company is now working on developing a material that can replace current plastic and peat pots with a nutrient-rich and 100% compostable alternative.
Fibergrow® is produced from Norwegian spruce chips. The chips are a byproduct from sawmills in Innlandet.
Fibergrow has the capacity to meet increased demand. Meeting the green industry's need for more Fibergrow® is not a challenge.
